our story
The Enjoy The Journey Foundation was established on the 10th November 2016. The Foundation became a reality after the sudden death of Geoffrey Freind, who died on the 21st September 2016.
Geoff’s heart was moved as he traveled through Africa and Asia and saw personally the great need to support children in developing countries. His desire was to commence the Foundation after his return from Africa in September 2016.
The Foundation is committed to honoring Geoff’s legacy, vision, and mission, which is “every child matters to God and every child has the right to be educated.”

- We work in partnership with nonprofit organizations in Zambia, Cebu & Sierra Leone.
- We believe strongly that every child matters to God, and therefore every child is valued and has the right to be educated.
- Our board of directors is committed to good stewardship, transparency, and a clear vision to see the Foundation’s goals achieved.
- We are tax deductible under the ATO and are registered with the ACNC and WA Charities Commission.
